That looks like your problem right there. Have you tried connecting via
ethernet instead and seeing how Youtube performs?

In my case, I suspected two things.
1. congestion (verizon over subscribed)
2. packet out of order (high packet drops in alternet-google could be
a symptom of multipath)
Not sure which has bigger performance impact to youtube.
