Nominees for the NRO NC must reside within the ARIN region and be willing and available to serve a three-year term beginning 1 January 2019. Incumbents may be nominated for consecutive terms. NRO NC representatives are expected to attend all regularly-scheduled ARIN, ICANN, and ASO in-person meetings and teleconferences and serve as representatives from the ARIN region on the ICANN Address Supporting Organization Advisory Council (ASOAC).
