Where do I have to create this files on target and where can I set the font
paths? Is this done in nxlib or nano-X?

The font path for the (usually .pcf or .ttf) files are set in
the nano-X config file.

The fonts.dir and fonts.alias files are in the "X11" fonts directory,
whose path is setup in the NXLIB Makefile. There are samples
of these files in NXLIB's src/fonts directory.
