I've been trying to implement NAnt here for a while, but I've been stuck at the fact that we're using .csproj files and that it's a pain in the butt to maintain more than one type of project file. Perhaps I'll try to wrap it in a .dll and give out the source for people to try building and hacking on.

Whoops! I forgot to mention that it *does not require DevStudio*.
This means you can compile your VS.NET projects on a computer without a VS.NET licence (only the .NET development SDK is required).
