We are feature complete for this release. Er...
um... we are feature done and need to get it out! ;)
Here is what we need to get done, as I see
it.
1--Changelog (We have not been updating this
as checkins happen)
2--Readme (Describing what is in the dist... like
core, nantcontrib tasks, utils like slingshot/vs.net stuff)
3--Make sure examples work (or remove the broken
ones from the dist)
4--Test the MSI installer stuff in nantcontrib for
the distribution
5--Post new website files
from CityDesk FOG docs, with updates.
Since this is a beta (pre-release) dist I would
suggest that all we need to do of the above is 2 and 4. I'd be happy to get them
all done, but as we really should get a new version out there, and we have been
unable to move forward much over the last few months (in terms of actual
relases), I'm willing to just throw my hands up in the air and get the new bug
fixes and better code out there.
Moving forward, after this release, we should focus
on these things for minor releases to bring the standard of our distribution up
to a more complete lever. It will be much easier to keep track of, and manage,
if we release monthly with whatever changes are made. We really need to turn the
churn-factor up and get things closer to a 1.0
release!
