This is great information, but I wonder if maybe we should not send this out to the dev-list on every change.   How about something along these lines:   1.) Send out status email(both success and failure) to the cvs list (people that are tracking cvs changes) 2.) Send email to the people doing check-in if a failure occurs   <snip/>   If the cvs list isn't appropriate, maybe we should create a new list for automated build status reports.
