Solution files builds using the task:  <solution … > are failing, it appears, when copying app.config files to the output directory.  The cause appears to be that nAnt is not correctly formatting the app.config file name or file path.  Output from the command line looks like this:

INTERNAL ERROR

System.UnauthorizedAccessException: Access to the path ".App.config" is denied.

The nant script is pretty simple, winExe output type for the project file in question.   A simple Windows form with an app.config file should reproduce the error.  The error occurs regardless of whether I specify the solution file name, or specify individual project file names instead.  Here’s the basic nant script I’m using:

<?xml version="1.0"?>

<project name="Automated_Build_A" default="mainTarget">

            <target name="mainTarget" depends="BuildStudio">

            </target>

            <target name="BuildStudio">

              <solution configuration="debug">

                <projects>

                    <includes name="buildstudio.csproj" />

                </projects>

              </solution>

            </target>

</project>
