I realize the NAnt-users list has several working options for building Visual Studio 2005 solutions, or groups of projects. I'm trying to find out if the NAnt development team is talking about coming up with a native option at some point in the future.
I'm asking here because I'm writing an article on NAnt for a book to be published by O'Reilly in October. I'd like to get the real status, rather than what little I've gleaned from digging through the archives. Is the NAnt development team looking at implementing some form of formal support for VS 2005 solutions, or will the answer continue to be "use <exec> for MSBuild" or "use the NAntContrib <msbuild> task"?
