Category: Core Group: None Status: Open Resolution: None Priority: 5 Private: No Submitted By: Carl Nettelblad (cnettel) Assigned to: Nobody/Anonymous (nobody) Summary: sysinfo fails on default 64-bit Vista Initial Comment: In a 64-bit Vista setup, there are environment variables that contain parentheses (CommonProgramFiles(x86) and ProgramFiles(x86)). The sysinfo preparation task will try to copy these into the sys.env property space, but fail due to the "invalid" names. The workaround is simple enough, remove them from the local environment before running NAnt, but it's still a hassle. I couldn't find any matching bug in the database, nor is this fixed in the latest nightly build. A more permanent solution could mean translating parens into simple underscores, as it's still quite realistic that some script might want to reference these variables.
