I found the reference to the appcreate parameter. I am good to go.

Greetings,
Is there any way to create a virtual directory in IIS using NantContrib
that does not actually create the application? I just need the virtual
folder off a website, but allows the bin folder to be the main site
root\bin.
Example
Site1
\bin
Somecustomvirtualfolder
\content files etc
I need to be able to load the aspx files from the
Somecustomvirutalfolder when the content.dll file is in Site1\bin.
I am able to do this by creating the application with mkiisdir, but then
I have to edit the properties of the virtual folder to make it a
non-application (changes the folder icon from folder + gear to folder +
globe.) clear as mud?
