thanks for your reply. and sorry for the unwarranted "no uninstall"
complaint.

i was thinking about your tool a little more.  i don't know how you're
loading your list of tasks and their properties, but i believe it could
all be done via reflection.  then your tool would only need a config
file pointing to the folders where the user keeps their nant(s), and all
tasks (nant, nantcontrib, mycustom) would get discovered.  I'd hate to
think your tool forces you to keep track of nant releases lest you fall
behind.  also, i think your tool shouldn't allow to edit tasks w/o the
"schema" provided by the task definition.
