Ed, I will submit a bug report for the ssh problems you have with the cvs task. If you have additionally information (i.e. stack trace, etc.) could you please submit them to the #cvslib list? Thanks.
Also if you are really stuck for cvs functionality you could wrap a cvs binary in an <exec />. Not a great solution (IMO) but it will get you by for now. Thanks for the feedback!
