I guess I'll just deal with it. What I've done is set a <property> to the '/' since I need this more often and then when I need the '\' I just call string::replace(var, '/', '\')

I think this is because .NET library objects are smart enough to convert between them (this is speculation on my part). I'm not sure why any task (running on Windows) should require that '/' be used as the directory separator... Unix environment are going to want to specify paths their way and likewise with Windows.
