Looks like my mail to the list is getting bumped as spam, I'm going to try putting the list in the TO field as opposed to the CC field.
A couple of things I am trying to get NAnt accepted at a fortune 500 transportation company, and am a bit frustrated. I'm trying to install nant on a windows 2000 machine that only has the 1.1 framework on it. I downloaded the 2004-May-25th build (the only one that has worked for me) and installed it. I set my path variables to point to the nant bin directory, and the framework directory, then I tried to run bin\nant from the nant directory. I got this error BUILD FAILED The current runtime framework 'net-1.1' is not correctly configured in the NAnt configuration file. Registry Value Not Found! - key='SOFTWARE\Microsoft\.NETFramework\\sdkIstallRootv1.1';hive='LocalMachine'; For more information regarding the cause of the build failue, run the build again in debug mode. Try 'nant -help' for more information Thankfully they guy I was supposed to show "how easy nant is to install" was delayed and I was able to get slapped by this alone. Then, imagine how I felt, when, while looking for how to configure the nant config file (I'm still trying to figure this out 2 1/2 hours later) I notice on the nant home page 2004/07/03 - **New**: The NAnt 0.85 nightly builds now support .NET 2.0 Beta 1 Not to put too delicate a point on it, but do we need to be supporting .NET 2.0 Beta when the install requires special configuration if a user doesn't have the 1.1 framework installed? In other words, please ship me those files you want edited so that we can start hacking out a .85 release.
