Agreed in full! To be completely candid, I think that NAnt 0.85 is more mature than Ant 1.0 was :-) I think the biggest reason NAnt _seems_ immature is in its <solution> implementation... but if you think about it, that's like Ant trying to build an Eclipse workspace! I don't think I could find a single person who would think that lack of Eclipse workspace support is a limitation of Ant. > > expect the documentation and literature to be much more mature and > > accessible by the 1.0 release :-) > > I'm hoping to have a part to play in the process of NAnt > becoming better documented and more accessible. There's always room for willing actors. > My only concern is that I may come across as too eager, or > worse, pushy. I wouldn't be too concerned about it... if anyone has a problem with you, then that's their problem, not yours :-) <confession> I have a tendency to come across as rather negative at times... that isn't through any desire to be negative or counter-productive, it's just my way of exploring the situation... if I think a discussion is missing a viewpoint, I'll often step into that viewpoint (which is most often devil's advocate) to try to provide a broader coverage in the discussion. Unfortunately, it means that I sometimes look like I'm disagreeing with people, even when I really agree with them. It isn't meant personally, but (and this is to everyone on the list) if you feel like I'm going too far, feel free to tell me to drop it, or leave it be. Don't let me get to you, I'm not worth it :-) </confession> Hope you're all well! -- Troy Disclaimer Message: This message contains confidential information and is intended only for the individual(s) named.
