Gert,

Been doing some thinking regarding this.

I think we talked about this earlier about putting a change log somewhere so that one
would know what changed between nightly build X and nightly build Y (of the same
release). I'm not sure how important this is. It's one of those things were it's
nice to know.

As far as the sdk docs. I would recommend you keeping them in the distributions. The
justification for this is for those that are unable to make an internet connection.

That's about it.

Felice

Hi Felice,

I was planning to make an announcement on this sooner or later, but that's
no longer necessary now I guess ;-)

We've indeed split up the nightly build (and probably the release packages
too) in a separate source and binary distribution package. Normal users
should download the binary distribution, while developers should download
the source distribution.

The exact content of both packages might still change though (eg. we might
leave out the sdk docs and make those only available online).

Let me know if there's anything that you'd like to see changed.

Gert

Hello all,

Is there going to be a new way of how the nightly builds are delivered? The
reason why I ask is because I noticed that the builds in this format
nant-0.85-YYYYMMDD.zip suddenly disappeared.

Is the new format going to be:

YYYY-MM-DD-0.85\
nant-0.85.xsd
nant-bin.zip
nant-src.zip

Thanks,
Felice
