The recommended way of doing this is to use the loadtasks task in your build file.
Something like this:
<loadtasks assembly="${NantContribDirectory}\bin\NAnt.Contrib.Tasks.dll" />

I had this problem today, and solved it by copying the contents of
NAntContrib/bin into NAnt/bin (as suggested in the FAQ:
