If you want to use the <nunit2> task with NUNit 2.2, then you need to upgrade or use the <exec> task to run nunit-console. I guarantee you that NAnt 0.85 RC* (and the nightly builds) are far more stable than NAnt 0.84. I will probably release NAnt 0.85 RC3 this weekend and finish the release after I get back from vacation.
