Yes, we use Nant for VC.NET 2003 unmanaged C++ development in "real" projects. But, we don't use the <cl> or <link> tasks. We use either the <solution> task or <exec> to devenv.com. Have you tried using @verbose attribute to get a dump of what the <cl> and <link> tasks are doing?
