Can you log in as the user that your service is running as, and make
sure that the drive is mapped properly.

That said, you should always use UNC paths as much as possible.

Hi Gert,

Thank you very much for your answer, and I'm sorry for now responding
quickly, I had some vacation days last week.

I have tried stopping the service and running ccnet.exe from the command
line, then forcing a build from the web dashboard and it works pretty
well.

What is strange is that I had already tried running the service with my
domain account instead of the LocalSystem account.

Any idea of how to make it work with the service?

Thanks,
-Juan Carlos

Hi Juan Carlos,

Does it work if run the build script directly (with CC.NET) on the same
machine?

Are you sure the mapped drive is available under CC.NET?

Gert

Subject: [NAnt-users] Nantcontrib <vssget> doesn't work when called
fromCruiseControl

Hi,

I'm trying to use CruiseControl.NET to call a NAnt script that builds my
project. The project repository is Visual SourceSafe, and I'm using
Visual SourceSafe 2005 (ver. 8) as the client. I'm getting the error
bellow every time I run the build:
___________________________________________________________

Build Error: NAnt.Core.BuildException
Failed to open database "H:\Source Safe\<my-project>\srcsafe.ini".
___________________________________________________________

H: is a mapped network drive.

I had a look at the CC.NET documentation and for this error it says:

"There are a number of known issues with SourceSafe 6.0c. Make sure that
you upgrade to the 6.0d version."

As I said I'm not using sourcesafe 6, I'm using version 8. I also tried
running the cc service with a user with proper permissions on the
network drive (H:), but it doesn't work either. Does any of you have any
idea of what could be the problem?

Thanks in advance.
-Juan Carlos
