You are correct. We need to get a binary dist out. I was trying to get an automated nightly build working but got distracted. For now we should just do a dist.
All the extras stuff in NAnt should be moved over. This should include sourcesafe, buildserver, slingshot, and I think a few others. The determining factor is whether it is part of the core functionality or not. I personally would also expect that anything that has a dependency on a non-standard program, or environment, would be in NAntContrib.
Mostly I’ve been time constrained but that is really no excuse in leaving everyone hanging :)
There are still a few logistical things that need to happen but I will push to get something up in the next day or two. It might not have all the NAnt extras stuff though.

Now since all these task are separated from NAnt, when will there be a package to download and install(unzip) right onto nAnt? I know I can download and build everything, but it would be nice not to have to do this. :) Also, what was the determining factor to pull stuff out of nAnt and put here? The SourceSafe tasks were not moved over and are still a part of the nAnt distribution. I would have thought that they would be here as well. Jason |
