I've been thinking about creating an MsiVal2 task myself a couple of
times, but haven't gotten around to it.

I think it should have it's own task and not be part of the current
MSITask. That would enable you to validate archives created by other
packages. However, it might be a bit overkill to make a task and not
just use exec.
