This is in response to Santosh Borse looking for a working example of the MSI task. The build xml is from a work in progress, the MSI task works but new id's should be generated to replace the ProductCode and UpgradeCode properties. The target was renamed to make it more generic. This build file also uses exec task to launch InstallUtil.exe which optionally installs the exe as a service.
