بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم هُوَ الَّذِي أَنْـزَلَ السَّكِينَةَ فِي قُلُوبِ
الْمُؤْمِنِينَ لِيَزْدَادُوا إِيمَانًا مَعَ إِيمَانِهِمْ وَلِلَّهِ جُنُودُ
السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالأَرْضِ وَكَانَ اللَّهُ عَلِيمًا حَكِيمًا (الفتح 4) He it is
Who sent down As-Sakînah (calmness and tranquillity) into the hearts of the
believers, that they may grow more in Faith along with their (present) Faith.
And to Allâh belong the hosts of the heavens and the earth, and Allâh is Ever
All-Knower, All-Wise. (Al-Fat’h 48:4) دَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْمُثَنَّى
وَابْنُ بَشَّارٍ قَالَا حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ
سَمِعْتُ أَبَا إِسْحَقَ يُحَدِّثُ عَنْ الْأَغَرِّ أَبِي مُسْلِمٍ أَنَّهُ قَالَ
أَشْهَدُ عَلَى أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ وَأَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيِّ أَنَّهُمَا شَهِدَا
عَلَى النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنَّهُ قَالَ لَا يَقْعُدُ
قَوْمٌ يَذْكُرُونَ اللَّهَ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ إِلَّا حَفَّتْهُمْ الْمَلَائِكَةُ
وَغَشِيَتْهُمْ الرَّحْمَةُ وَنَزَلَتْ عَلَيْهِمْ السَّكِينَةُ وَذَكَرَهُمْ
اللَّهُ فِيمَنْ عِنْدَهُ صحيح مسلم Agharr Abi Muslim reported: I bear
witness to the fact that both Abu Huraira and Abu Sa'id Khudri were present
when Allah's Messenger may peace be upon him) said: The people do not sit but
they are surrounded by angels and covered by mercy, and there descends upon
them tranquility as they remember Allah, and Allah makes a mention of them to
those who are near Him. This hadith has been narrated on the authority of
Shu'ba with the same chain of transmitters. (Book #035, Hadith #6520)
