بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم فَأَقِمْ وَجْهَكَ
لِلدِّينِ حَنِيفًا فِطْرَتَ اللَّهِ الَّتِي فَطَرَ النَّاسَ عَلَيْهَا لا
تَبْدِيلَ لِخَلْقِ اللَّهِ ذَلِكَ الدِّينُ الْقَيِّمُ وَلَكِنَّ أَكْثَرَ
النَّاسِ لا يَعْلَمُونَ (30) So set you (O Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم) your
face towards the religion (of pure Islâmic Monotheism) Hanîf (worship none but
Allâh Alone). Allâh’s Fitrah (i.e. Allâh’s Islâmic Monotheism) with which He
has created mankind. No change let there be in Khalq-illâh (i.e. the religion
of Allâh - Islâmic Monotheism): that is the straight religion, but most of men
know not.[2] [Tafsir At-Tabarî] (Al-Rum 30:30) حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ
عَبَّادٍ وَزُهَيْرُ بْنُ حَرْبٍ وَاللَّفْظُ لِابْنِ عَبَّادٍ قَالَا حَدَّثَنَا
أَبُو صَفْوَانَ أَخْبَرَنَا يُونُسُ عَنْ الزُّهْرِيِّ قَالَ قَالَ ابْنُ
الْمُسَيَّبِ قَالَ أَبُو هُرَيْرَةَ إِنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ
وَسَلَّمَ أُتِيَ لَيْلَةَ أُسْرِيَ بِهِ بِإِيلِيَاءَ بِقَدَحَيْنِ مِنْ خَمْرٍ
وَلَبَنٍ فَنَظَرَ إِلَيْهِمَا فَأَخَذَ اللَّبَنَ فَقَالَ لَهُ جِبْرِيلُ
عَلَيْهِ السَّلَام الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ الَّذِي هَدَاكَ لِلْفِطْرَةِ لَوْ أَخَذْتَ
الْخَمْرَ غَوَتْ أُمَّتُكَ صحيح مسلمAbu Huraira reported that Allah's Messenger
(may peace be upon him) was presented two cups at Bait al-Maqdis on the night
of Heavenly Journey, one containing wine and the other containing milk. He
looked at both of them, and be took the one containing milk, whereupon Gabriel
(peace be upon him) said: Praise is due to Allah Who guided you to the true
nature; had you taken the one containing wine, Your Umma (Nation) would have
gone astray. (Book #023, Hadith #4985)
