Dear Attila,

Nice to meet you.
I'm working for Yokogawa, and we're using JDK11 and Nashorn in one of our
products.
Our code has not adopted the java module system. They probably do that for next
release (I'm not sure).
We're not using spring-boot. We're using the script engine as part of
customizable dynamics in a Swing based GUI.
JDK's change very rapidly, so i'm not demanding anything. I'm just presenting
this from usage viewpoint.

Kind regards,
Roland

I’ve been thinking about the issue where Spring Boot isn’t loading Nashorn as a
module, and was wondering if it’d make sense to put some effort into allowing
Nashorn to operate when loaded as a non-modular JAR. Thoughts?

Attila.
