...On the official release of JDK 8! Nashorn is an important component
of this release, and I believe it will become more and more important
for Java technology's continued usage in many platforms and industries.
There's quite a bit of work ahead to make Nashorn as mature as other JVM
language engines, but it's already showing excellent performance, proper
adherence to standards, and has security baked in. It's a great foundation.
I've put quite a bit of effort to make Nashorn work for me, so allow me
to join your celebration with this nice cup of gourmet tea. :)
