IAEA Says Iran Enrichment Suspension Now Complete Mon Nov 29, 2004 09:16 AM ET http://www.reuters.com/newsArticle.jhtml?type=topNews&storyID=6942492 VIENNA (Reuters) - The United Nations nuclear watchdog said Monday it had verified that Iran's suspension of uranium enrichment-related activity was now complete. Mohamed ElBaradei, head of the International Atomic Energy Agency, said the suspension now included 20 disputed centrifuges which Iran had last week sought to exempt from an agreement with the European Union, threatening to torpedo the deal. "We have already verified these 20 centrifuges and they are under agency surveillance ... We have now therefore completed our verification of Iran's decision to suspend enrichment- and reprocessing-related activities," he told reporters. � Reuters 2004.
