Dear Friends: Due to security reasons I can not disclose full details but we make some very good progress for the Akha in travels to Laos, Vietnam and China. The traveling in China is very rough. Laos is a very beautiful country. Vietnam, well, if there was a road from hell, we found at least part of it, and the bus that runs on that road too. We still have much to do and we very much need your financial support at this time to help cover costs of work we do on behalf of the human rights situation of the Akha at this very moment. Please make a donation at this time to support this ongoing effort we are engaged in. The situation for the Akha in Laos is more secure than in Thailand though there are problems. However the situation for the ethnic people in Laos over all appears to be more secure. We will have more news to report shortly as we are able. We thank you for your donation to this effort. We also want to thank the Akha who are putting in valiant efforts and to our friends in Czech Republic, Germany, England, the US, Africa, Canada, Australia, Italy, Netherlands, Sweden, France, New Zealand, Hong Kong, Laos, Peru and Switzerland who are helping out with this case.
