[EMAIL PROTECTED] Akha Journal: Email Change, Akha Village Alert, Akha Web, Update Dear Friends: We continue to urge you to take time to write Thai Embassies and your MP or Congress person regarding the Akha situation at Pah Nmm, Bpah Mah Hahn and at Hooh Yoh. Contact information and details are on the home page. It is only with the ongoing involvement of many people, taking direct action, that the Akha situation is going to change from being a tourist destination to being viewed as real people. Due to continued problems with the server and mail server we are moving all of our mail to Gmail (google mail) so from now on the email is [EMAIL PROTECTED] Please make a note of it. We will still have the other mail of course but it has become too unreliable and too easily blocked. A lot of mail has been bouncing lately. Please take a visit to the website at http://www.akha.org and look at the changes, we are always keen on suggestions you might have. We hope to increase the first view content, so that people can more accurately see what is in the site and work over all. Plus we have always a lot of work to do to fill out the contents section, all a matter of keyboard time. We can use more people collecting stories, doing documentation, and gathering or preparing materials for the web site. Getting site materials into good shape is crucial before they can be loaded to a section. As we get a lot of the video interviews and other data we have processed we will get it to the website. And consider, if you have not already, to make a donation to this effort. $20 goes a long ways.
