Dear All, I am against to build such type temple. Do you think why they are making such type temple, It is very easy to write a blog , go in the remote villages of any part of India and i am dalit, and noticed the reaction. I have heard many times ' wo log chori chamari" kartay hai.kaisa lagta hoga ki poori ek cast ko chor bana diya. it is very much humiliating. upper caste children refused meal, prepared by dalit, who told him to do like that, their parent? what intention behind their such motive. Aaj bhi village hota hai pahlay thakur ji bhog laga lenay do phir aap log mandir may pravesh karogay. a when person feel abused, he try to escape and search many paths.
Innocent dalit misguided by every one, come on my home i will pay respect. baad may apnay thaga mehsoos karata hai. A building statue of 'angrezi devi' .is poltical.yes really . Wastage of money.... a popular upper cast person died a street inagurated in his name with in month, if a popular dalit expired????? ________________________________ From: Shilpi Boral <divinesm...@gmail.com> To: national-forum-of-india@yahoogroups.co.in Cc: anim...@myself.com Sent: Tue, 9 November, 2010 7:59:40 PM Subject: Re: National Forum | Tension over dalit Angrezi Devi temple in UP Dear all, After building the statue of elephants and mayavati, they now focus on building statue of 'angrezi devi' ... Amazing... Wastage of money... I would like to share some of the points that puzzled my mind... 1.now to be a genuine point, one should worship a deity who is well personfied, and has some literature related to the deity. Do any literature available regarding angrezi devi? 2.a deity is worshipped so that the deity can have mercy and give some boons to the worshipper... do angrezi devi has enough power to donate a boon to its worshippers? 3. This angrezi devi is english literature personified or an incarnation of mayawati herself? 4. if we call goddess of knowledge, do we mean that english language (or literature, need more clarification) is the knowledge itself and rest of the language and literature has no knowledge at all? Where do rest language stand in front of english in richness? 5.what is more important, to learn english language or to learm about our constitutional rights and utilize our minds and brains in voting so that we can remove corrupt politicians from their power and bring back our money from swiss banks? 6.Why are we always taught that he is a dalit and she is an upper catse person? Why are we never taught that we are indians and humans first? Please give a thought on these issues... Well i consider such dramas to fool yourself and others... Thankyou. Regards, Shilpi.
