Well my plans were a well intentioned visit to my sister in Virginia Beach
for 12 days, it turned into national lampoon hehehe. We joked before
leaving about the station wagon and cargo carrier. Turned out not to be a
joke. We decided to leave Va. Beach 4 days early. We got to Beckley West
Virginia, and we were stuck. The car died, finished, gone. We were stuck
in a motel, couldn't get a flight for under 4600.00, couldn't get a one way
rental car, there were floods, couldn't get a u-haul with a big enough cab
for 5 people, the rental car mileage speedometer and air conditioner quit
working. The horrors go on. I finally decided that I had either been
caught in an episode of the twilight zone, or in the community of stepford.
LOL I can now joke about it.
