I am delighted to receive your email and request for listing
with our group. You will find at the end of this email a Website
which explains the Northern Cherokee Nation of the Old Louisiana
Territory. (NCNOLT) Please visit there and it will help you to better
understand our nation and our history. We are Cherokees mostly
of Missouri, Arkansas and parts of Oklahoma, Kansas, Texas.
We are sometimes known as the Old Settlers because we left
the Eastern homeland and came here prior to the Trail of Tears,
Many came this way by various means, escaping from Tail of Tears or
other reasons...
There are many of our members and others just wanting to learn
here on the cherokeencn site. We have several who have the
various rolls to search for family names and history. We help with
questionswhen we can and all are prayerful and we like to be family
one to each other...most of us are mixed blood but we are all so very
proud of our Cherokee heritage and Nation (NCNOLT).
My name is Bill Taylor, I am 63 years old, I live in Lamar Arkansas
with my lovely wife(Yong) and 11 year old son, (Alex )...I am retired
from the U S Military and have a huge interest in everything Cherokee.
I enjoy our "Reservation" which is here on the website and so many
delightful people. Most of our members are Ladies and have a great
talent for getting to know each other. I have included 2 names in the
address above that you may contact for further information. Nancy
Jackson is the Moderator for the cherokeencn site and Yellow is a Cuz
of mine out in Oklahoma. Perhaps you would feel more comfortable
talking with Yellow or Nancy (Nancy will be back home on Tuesday) but
Yellow is available and others as well...When you get over on the NCN
net, I will have everyone say hi and introduce themselves.
I just know you will like us here and that we will like you and your

All problems that we have had in all areas are not important anymore.
Right now all that should matter to all races and religions are the loved
ones of all those who died and to all those who gave their lives to try and
rescue anyone who was alive.
