I agree that a stimulus package top-loaded to benefit the likes of Enron, IBM, and other billion-dollar corporations would do nothing to help the unemployed. It would simply provide the funds these corporations would need to move their operations out of the country. No bill is better than a bad one! Even the president is saying perhaps we didn't need a stimulus package for our economy to recover. Can you imagine what would have happened if Tom Daschle didn't have the courage of his convictions?
