From Native Youth Movement
Lil'wat Warrior and Teacher Passes On

On Aug 23rd 2002 Lil'wat Warrior Harold James Pascal, better known as "Chubb" Pascal passed on in a Vancouver hospital from an apparent heart attack. He had suffered a mild heart attack earlier in the day, and the doctors said he just needed to recoop, later on in the eveing he suffered the unpredicted fatal heart attack. Chubb was 58 years old.

Chubb has been involved in the Movement to protect and defend the Land for the last 3 decades, and met and helped many people along the way. To name the work he has done for the people, or to try and say all the roadblocks, occupations, demonstrations, or other actions he has been involved in to protect the bones of our ancestors, our land, air, water and animals would be a book worth of information, this Warrior will be missed by many people who got the honor to meet him, and those who did'nt, as well as the land he fought so hard to protect.

The family is holding sevices for Chubb over the next few days, and hopes that anybody who has met or known Chubb over the years will come to the services if possible, and if not send out your prayers, and call the family and let them know your thinking of them in this difficult time.
His wife Lorreta can be reached at: (604)-894-6007

Bo'Matum (thank You)
