Hello,
My name is Christine Munson, member of the Oneida Nation and co-President of the Youth "Indian" Mascot and Logo Taskforce.� Legislation is being presented on March 17th in Madison, WI, that calls for the elimination of ethnic mascots and logos from WI public schools.� The rally is from noon to 1pm, there will be Indian and nonIndians present, a wide range of age groups, and people speaking and presenting art work.� The Youth Taskforce would appreciate it greatly if you could pass word of the rally to community members, organizations, friends and family.� I attached an Action Alert giving the details of the event.� Feel free to make copies and distribute.� This rally is meant to be a celebration and we want as many people as possible to join us.
