1. The Associaiton of American Indian Physicians announces its 2nd
Annual National Native American Youth Initiative scheduled for June 19-27th,
1999, in Washington D.C. The application is downloadable from the AAIP web
site at www.aaip.com/student/nnayi Early application is encouraged due to the
limited number of student selections. Deadline for receipt of completed
applications is April 15, 1999. For questions the office number is 405

2. Millennium Young People's Congress - Assembling 1,000 of the world's
most talented young people to set the priorities for the 21st century. 100
American Youth (ages 16-20) to serve as Millennuim Youth Stewards. October
21-29, 1999, Honolulu, Hawaii. Application deadline April 1, 1999. For

3. The University of Pennsylvania has asked the Association of American
Indian Physicians (who forwarded the information to me) for assistance in
identifying two minority students meeting credentials to enter the veterinary
school. They will fund two students for four years. Normal price for one year
is over $30,000.
