Dear Friends:
We need your help for Ramiro R. Muniz, who is incarcerated in
Leavenworth, Kansas. Ramsey has been placed in "special housing," meaning
that he is in solitary confinement. He is suffering greatly, as he finds
himself in cold, inhumane conditions. He writes, "It's cold in these
medieval underground dungeons, with beds of concrete and doors of steel,
with the slots only opening to feed the beasts of freedom and liberation."
Ramsey is in solitary confinement because he is a political
prisoner. His spiritual writings were burned.
Please contact your congressman about Ramiro R. Muniz
(#40288-115). Most congressmen are in Washington, so please ask their
administrative assistants to write a letter and make a telephone call on
Ramsey's behalf. Investigate his detention under such harsh conditions.

their information. If you are asked to make your request in writing, feel

his wife and family.
Mr. Muniz is a political prisoner who does not seek confrontation.
Conditions for him in solitary confinement are severe, and we must do
everything that we can to alleviate his suffering as soon as possible.
Because of the holiday week approaching, speed is of the essence.
Please convey our feelings about Ramiro Muniz to the staff at the
Leavenworth Penitentiary, and investigate his detention under such harsh
conditions.
