The collections will be similar to those collected under the cigarette tax agreement of 1993. The tribe will collect a 20-cent-a-gallon tax on gasoline sold on the reservation... equaling the tax collected by the state. Tribal officials say the money returned to the tribe will go toward road maintenance on the reservation.
