Open Letter to Biq Mountain Supporters
As a long standing member of various Native American
Communities, and as a veteran of numerous actions on behalf of
the communities in which I have lived, I am deeply concerned by
the amount of conflict which currently surrounding supportera of
Big Mountain. The time is coming near for evictions and forced
relocations. The real enemy, however, is not the BIA, or peabody
at this time. The real enemy is among our own ranks.
The time is now to focus our energies toward the struqqle,
and in support of the Resistance. Support groups are in
different camps right now. Lies are being told among and about
existing support groups. You know who you are. I am addressing
everyone who is putting out public statements against each other.
Get a grip on yourselves. There is no room for backstabbing or
mudslinging. This arena is not for personal gain.
We are here to help the Sovereign Dinch Nation with their
Resistance. The Dineh have been resisting before you were born,
so keep your egos in check, and stick to your job of support.
None of you are strong enouqh to carry this job by yourself, nor
are you qualified. This resistance effort can only be negatively
affected by people who are out to serve themselves, and using the
resistance cause to achieve self servinq goals.
Financially, politically, and spiritually, it is the time to
give, not take for yourselves. Disseminatinq false information
will not dater me in my efforts to assist the Dineh the way they
have asked my organization to assist them. I will do everything
required of me by the Dinch Elders.
Focus on the job at hand, and we will all find that we can
work together, and resist effectively. Do it. On behalf of our
struggle, walk your talk, and don't talk about others. Chatter in
ther wind later. There is no excuse for this behavior. It is
divisive, and will no longer be tolerated. Mudslinging is equal
to infiltration in the ammount of damage that can be done to a
cause. I will not tolerate it I am in a position to have, and
voice this opinion.
