And now:Ish <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> writes:

A recent episode of Law and Order which aired last evening featured a
segment in which a hostess was preparing for a fund raiser for Mumia. The
two detectives replied, "Oh..the cops killer." She responded, "No, the
journalist.." she explained some background which I didn't hear, as
visions of similar scenarios being written into episodes for this show and
others concerning Leonard Peltier opened a vast possibility in an area not
yet broached in circulating alerts and messages.

Suggestions as to other current prime time shows (and contact information,
please) who may be willing to add/write in segments with Leonard Peltier's
situation appreciated.

A letter of appreciation for the writers of last night's episode would also
be appreciated. The show itself focused on illegal police activities
during antiwar protests of the 60s in which undercover officers became
themselves the most violent of the protestors in order to discredit and
neutralize the movements. Law and Order's episode last evening was
straight from recent FOIA releases concerning COINTELPRO type activities
in the 60s and 70s.
