Aloha kakou,

Hawai`i is the only state with an Aloha Spirit Law. This law which is
encoded in the Hawai`i Revised Statutes, section 5-7.5, acknowledges that
the Aloha Spirit "was the working philosophy of native Hawaiians and was
presented as a gift to the people of Hawaii." All government officials are
empowered to consider the Aloha Spirit in carrying out their duties and
obligations.
