Dear Cheryl,

I'm really frustrated with all the politicians in Washington, D.C.,
who say one thing, but then turn around and do another. I want to know why
the
last truly pristine, wild and ancient forests left in America are still being
clearcut and mined -- at taxpayer expense.

Bill Clinton and Al Gore promised that our last wild forests will be, "managed
through science, not politics." But now the Clinton Administration is turning
right around and developing a plan that will not, in its current form, protect
these open spaces and wild places from logging and mining - against the
recommendations of hundreds of scientists.

Well, I'm fed up. I've decided to do something about it. After all, our
National Forests belong to you and me, the American people.

I just sent my Citizen Comment to the Forest Service and Al Gore at
http://www.ourforests.org. It's incredibly easy, it takes only 2
minutes, and it's totally free!

No matter how much I love wildlife, hiking, clean water, and the
forests that make these things possible, I cannot save our last wild
forests alone. Won't you please join with me in saving these places?

Send your comment right now at http://www.ourforests.org. And pass
this message on to EVERYONE you know who has an interest in what kind
of planet we are leaving for our children.

For the forests, for the future,

Trevor Miller
