And now:Ish <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> writes: Date: Tue, 4 May 1999 11:21:22 -0700 (PDT) From: Larry Kibby <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Subject: "Trust Papers Missing" Message-ID: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> MIME-Version: 1.0 Content-Type: TEXT/PLAIN; charset=US-ASCII Ralph Williams, an Interior Department Lawyer has testified in a class action lawsuit against the government that "Indian Trust Records" he says he refused to get rid of, that now more than half are missing. Williams has declared he was ordered to destroy the documents. Williams, labeled a "Whistle-Blower", currently under federal protection, had the job of reconciling discrepancies in the trust accounts, stated he refused to dispose of the material because he believed that doing so would be illegal. "(Like D-U-H!)" Williams has stated that Interior Deputy Solicitor Edward Cohen told him that once he had reconciled payments to and disburse- ments from the trust accounts "any other information which was inconsistent from his findings could be purged from the files. Williams indicated that by complying with the order, in fact would have resulted in the destruction and possible removal of information relating to payments to Indian and the pending lawsuit.... Story and information from: "American Indian Reports, May, 1999" COMMENT & OPINION: by: Larry Kibby Obviously, Williams in an attempt to install truthful respects regarding vital information resulting to the "Lost Trust Monies" has been targeted by his own employee, the "U.S. Government". Not a very healthy situation for Williams, but still, his attempt to install information regarding certain events and incidents surrounding various "U.S. Governmental Order's" is an indication that some very high ranking Government Officials are involved in some very illegal activity surrounding the missing funds. Federal Protection, advocated and installed for Williams own protection due to his being a "Whistle Blower" relates that it is possible, that even if Williams elaborates some form of truth regarding his job, that somewhere during the course of this lawsuit, the truth will eventually be covered up, and nothing futher gained, except a possible slight adjustment of payment to help render the anger that evolved when the money was discovered missing or declared "Lost". They continue to take treaty land, and now they are taking tribal money, why doesn't that surprise anyone? The comment and opinion are my own and not neccessarly to be rendered acceptable respects. =================================================== <> http://personalweb.sierra.net/~kibbey/main.html <> <> New Material is Posted Regularly <> <> "Larry Kibby", Program Director-WSHPS <> <> Elko Indian Colony, Elko Nevada 89801-2577 <> =================================================== Reprinted under the fair use http://www4.law.cornell.edu/uscode/17/107.html doctrine of international copyright law. &&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&& Tsonkwadiyonrat (We are ONE Spirit) Unenh onhwa' Awayaton http://www.tdi.net/ishgooda/ &&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&
