Thomas, Geringer seek more comment time on Idaho facility
CHEYENNE, Wyo. (AP) - Gov. Jim Geringer and U.S. Sen. Craig Thomas have
asked Idaho to reopen the comment period on a proposed nuclear waste
incinerator in eastern Idaho.
Some residents of the Jackson Hole area have voiced concern about emissions
from the facility drifting into northwest Wyoming.
