Don't forget that on some NFS environments, permanently changing this location may make sense. Also note that this is a rather exotic feature (considering that most end-user setups don't have multiple partitions), so adding a GUI, documenting and translating it costs a few dozen hours which aren't really worth the pain. We're better off telling admins and advanced users how to set it up. The FAQ is meant to become a place where most of the advanced setup procedures are described in exotic/uncommon environments. > On Mon, 2007-01-01 at 21:39 +0100, Christian Neumair wrote: > > Am Montag, den 01.01.2007, 00:34 -0800 schrieb Peter Gordon: > > > On Sun, 2006-12-31 at 09:34 +0100, Lilian Robert wrote: > > > > How could I tell to nautilus where to store the temporary disk > > > > image ? > > > > > > I don't know how to access or modify the preference through Nautilus > > > directly, but using gconftool-2 (via the command-line) or through > > > gconf-editor (graphically), you need to set the > > > /app/nautilus-cd-burner/temp_iso_dir key to a directory of your choosing > > > (such as /home/your_user/Temp or whatnot). > > > > Thanks, I've added this one to the Nautilus FAQ: > > http://live.gnome.org/Nautilus > > > > -- > > Christian Neumair <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> > > > -- Christian Neumair <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> -- nautilus-list mailing list [email protected] http://mail.gnome.org/mailman/listinfo/nautilus-list
