Thanks for your answer. Since now I know I am on the right path, I was able to discover why it didn't work "out of the box" ... the "box" is running Debian Testing, coming with gnome-vfs 2.14.2, which doesn't seem to support GSSAPI/ftp. But upstream (experimental) I have noticed that gnome-vfs 2.16.3 is compiled against the MIT Kerberos runtime libraries! The package providing GSSAPI/ftp support is libgnomevfs2-extra >= 2.16. Thanks again for pointing me in the right direction. /Simone > =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= > Alexander Larsson Red Hat, Inc > [EMAIL PROTECTED] [EMAIL PROTECTED] > He's a globe-trotting vegetarian master criminal with a passion for fast > cars. > She's a sharp-shooting belly-dancing advertising executive from a family of > eight older brothers.
