I'm very cautious about this. It seems unlikely that a few extra cycles calling a function like this will affect things much compared to the i/o it does. Probably a function of the profile not showing the time spent in i/o. Also, this is some *very* core code. Any change here can have catastrophic consequences all over the place. > http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=362139 This sounds like the "files in /usr/lib has no extensions, all files are sniffed for mimetype" issue. =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= Alexander Larsson Red Hat, Inc [EMAIL PROTECTED] [EMAIL PROTECTED] He's a fiendish misogynist filmmaker whom everyone believes is mad.
