Is this because XDS is the only way, or just the best way? "Save" is not exactly the right metaphor in this case, since this is really a copy operation (save could do that job of course). I guess if comes down to who does the copying/saving: in XDS it is the source app, right? In most cases, I'd be just as happy if it was the destination app (nautilus) handling the copy operation.
