I have spoken and worked with the nautilus elementary developer (ammonkeyd) a little bit when we collaborated on a CoverFlow implementation for Nautilus (http://github.com/nzjrs/nautilus) but that fell apart when we had different ideas. In any case, the developers of nautilus elementary have not communicated here in the past and have also said they do not wish to because they believe "the projects have different visions". I would basically not rely on any help or communication from them in the future. That being said however, these are the important differences * The undo/redo stuff is this * https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=167501 * The toolbar editor work is based on the Midori toolbar editor code, and not that from cosimo/others * The view switcher modebutton is basically this * http://audidude.com/?p=61 * http://github.com/chergert/custom-gtk-widgets/tree/master/gtkmodebutton * The zoom slider has been posted here for review * https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=429490 * The breadcrumb bar is some minor mods to nautilus-pathbar.c but basically done by the gtk theme painting arrow pixmaps at the correct place (AFAIK) * Much of the sidebar shown in nautilus-elementary is new code * They added back the button to switch from pathbar <-> entry Regards, John > > I'd be glad to review patches if those were submitted. > > Cheers, > > Cosimo > > > -- > nautilus-list mailing list > [email protected] > http://mail.gnome.org/mailman/listinfo/nautilus-list > -- nautilus-list mailing list [email protected] http://mail.gnome.org/mailman/listinfo/nautilus-list
